In Montessori environments, shelves are key to integrating the play or work area.

The shelf allows us to present the child's activities in an orderly manner at an appropriate height so that the child can freely choose their activity.

It is important that the shelf be neutral and simple in color so that what stands out is the toy or activity that we prepare for it. Our shelves have round corners and edges taking into account the safety of the child.

It is always good to remember that when creating spaces for our children, less is more. The fewer activities and distractions, the quality of play increases and it becomes much easier for the child to take care of and organize his or her environment.
