Melchor Sabidillo enters the contest “In Search of the Smartest Boy” but, although he has prepared many very thoughtful topics, he did not expect to face an unknown subject: feet.
The protagonist will find in a book everything he needs to know about that part of the lower extremities: the types of feet, their anatomy and the function they fulfill so that we can walk and run, the number of bones they have, curiosities about nails or footprints. what we left... “I have perfect feet” is a book within another book, with a part of literary creation and another informative, differentiated in the printed work by the color of the paper.
Readers will accompany Melchor in his discovery of everything when he needs to learn about feet in order - with the knowledge acquired - to enter the contest, coming to the conclusion that sometimes the immediate things go unnoticed by us.
Gusti's illustrations also reflect this duality: everyday scenes of Melchior in the narrative section; iconic and schematic forms on the scientific level. Together, text and images are loaded with humor.
